Bandai Namco Entertainment launched Super Limit-Breaking NEO on Wednesday (30), marking the largest DLC expansion ever produced for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. The expansion is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam), with Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 releases scheduled for a later date.
Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO releases largest expansion
Developed by Spike Chunsoft, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO brought back the Budokai Tenkaichi series with high-speed combat, destructible arenas, and a massive roster. The new expansion adds a solo game mode, original story content, extra stages, and 33 playable characters spanning nearly every era of the franchise created by Akira Toriyama.
The main highlight of the expansion is the solo campaign mode, Limit Breaker Journey (Jornada Limit Breaker):
Character Progression: Players select a fighter and face a sequence of increasingly powerful opponents to strengthen their character throughout the campaign.
Custom Builds: Progression allows players to upgrade attributes, customize character evolution, and craft builds tailored to different combat styles.
Replay Value: Designed around individual character progression, the mode encourages repeated playthroughs using different fighters.
