Blizzard revealed on Thursday (6) the first full presentation of D.Mon, the newest hero coming to Overwatch. Set to launch on August 11 alongside Season 4, the hero was introduced via an anime-style cinematic trailer exploring her backstory, personality, and powerful mecha, Beast.
D.Mon arrives as the 53rd hero on the roster, reinforcing the expansion of the Overwatch universe in 2026. Prior to her official reveal, she had been teased through silhouettes, promotional artwork, and in-game references over recent months.
Known by her real name Yuna Lee, D.Mon is a member of South Korea’s MEKA squad—the same military unit to which D.Va belongs.
The introduction video utilizes a Japanese anime-inspired direction to showcase the hero fighting mechanized threats while piloting her mecha, Beast.
