The report comes from the leaker known as “Graczdari,” who has a history of accurately predicting industry moves, such as the PlayStation ports of Starfield and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, as well as the physical edition of Oblivion Remastered.
This time, the leaker shared an image allegedly from an internal distribution system, where the title’s status for the Nintendo platform is listed as “delayed.” Neither IO Interactive nor Nintendo has officially confirmed this change, and the studio has not yet commented on the matter.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the Switch 2 version, the release for all other platforms appears to be proceeding as planned. 007 First Light is still scheduled to launch on May 27, 2026, for:
PC (via Steam)
PlayStation 5
Xbox Series S|X
